As a Westie owner, you know what it’s like to take your four-legged friend outside in frigid weather. There is something about freezing temperatures that amplifies new scents, and many Westies love this time of year. In winter, once nightfall arrives, my Westie sits by the door wanting to go out and explore. As for the morning exit, I’m not well put together like my neighbors. I roll out of bed in my flannels and throw on a long coat. Perhaps in my next life I’ll be a disciplined morning person. Until then, It’s all about comfort and warmth during winter.
